We will then advise you how to protect yourself and your home. The Police must also be advised immediately of any loss or damage arising from theft, attempted theft, vandalism or malicious act. Major emergencies which may result in serious damage or danger to you or anyone else should immediately be reported to the Public Supply Authority, or in the case of difficulty, to the Public Emergency Services on 999.

Your mains drainage is covered to the boundaries of the home, as are your water, electricity, gas and main source of heating or hot water.

Our tradesman are available 24 /7 to help with your home emergency and we offer nationwide coverage.

An annual boiler inspection as standard with our gold policy

If you buy Protect your bubble’s gold home emergency cover we will arrange for an authorised repairer to carry out a full annual service of your primary heating system and boiler to ensure that your boiler and system are operating efficiently and are in a safe condition. We will arrange a date with you for this boiler service during the period of cover.

Our service will include:
• Ensure gas and electricity supply are isolated;
• Dismantling the appliance to gain access to the combustion area and controls;
• Inspection and clean;
• Check the heat exchanger surface;
• Check the main and pilot burner;
• Check the fan, removing all dust from the impeller;
• Check all safety devices;
• Check all water, electrical and gas connections for soundness and safety;
• Check flueways and air intake ducts and flue terminal;
• Check and confirm ventilation requirements;
• Carry out a flue flow test and spillage test if appliance is open flued;
• Check burner gas pressure or heat input against manufacturers data;
• Check all combustion chamber seals for soundness;
• Check stability of appliance and any retaining devices;
• Check the working gas pressure;
• Carry out efficiency test on boiler;
• Check radiators are functioning correctly.
