Home Protection Emergency Insurance

Home Emergency insurance will address sudden, unexpected events which expose you to a risk to health, or requires immediate action to render your home safe, secure, avoid damage or further damage, or to restore main services.

This policy provides emergency assistance if you experience a home emergency resulting from an incident covered under the level of cover you have chosen.

Home Emergency insurance is not a home insurance policy. This policy does not cover normal day to day home maintenance. This policy provides emergency assistance only if you experience a home emergency resulting from an incident covered under the level of cover you have chosen.

  • Total number of claims in any 12 month period - 3 claims
  • Maximum payable benefit  £400 per claim
  • £1,000 is the maximum we will pay during the 12 months of your policy 
  • £250 uninhabitable accommodation benefit

  1. Plumbing and drains
  2. Mains service supply
  3. Home security

  6. Primary heating
  7. Boiler inspection/service
  8. Pest infestation

Features 1 - 8 (except 5) include: 

  • Total number of claims in any 12 month period - 3 claims
  • Maximum payable benefit  £1,000 per claim
  • £2,000 is the maximum we will pay during the 12 months of your policy 
  • £250 uninhabitable accommodation benefit


Additional Information
  • All claims/incidents will be reviewed during the initial call
  • We will endeavour to assess the reason or circumstance of the home emergency:
  •  By offering helpful advice initially to stablise the situation before deploying a contractor;
  • It is our intention to treat all customers fairly.
  • Each case will be evaluated individually. However should it be found that the incident is not covered under the terms and conditions, the customer will be charged for the call-out and subsequent repair work.
